It seems appropriate that our first Bike Party of 2017 falls on Friday the 13th, a day considered by some to be ominous, but for others to be lucky. Likewise we encourage you to come with a costume reflecting your association of apocalypse, be it the grim struggle for survival of Mad Max, a chaotic zombie uprising, or a dawning messianic era of peace and harmony.
Our Route:
Meet at 7pm at the Bike Church, 703 Pacific Ave.
Head north on Pacific, Right on Cooper, through the TJ’s parking lot and Right on the levee bike path.
Follow the levee path until Laurel Ext, drop down to the street and head South on Pacific. Left on Beach St, all the way to the end and up on the bike path until Riverside. Cross the Riverside Ave bridge, then Right on San Lorenzo and Left on Ocean St.
From Ocean, Right on Soquel, Right on Pine, Right on Seabright, Left on Murray, and Right on Lake down by the harbor. Dance break at the traffic circle by the beach next to the Crow’s Nest.
From there head a few blocks down E Cliff and Left on 7th up to Brommer, where we turn Left onto the Arana Gulch bike path. Follow the path through to Broadway and back into town, finishing with another pass or two down Pacific Ave and surrounding streets, before returning to the Bike Church.
