Let’s take a tropical vacation together through the streets of Santa Cruz. Dress up. Think tropical pattern and color, perhaps there will be some jungle animals? Definitely some party animals! It is dark under the canopy of the rainforest – bring lights, both the festive kind, and the kind with which you can actually see things!
Live cumbia by Las Uvas de Oro. The PopCycle will also be in attendance with frozen tropicaliscious treats. We’ll bring the music, you bring yourselves.

The route:
Start @ 703 Pacific. Rt. on Pacific. Through round-a-bouts. Left on Beach. Left on to San Lorenzo Riverway Bike Path.
SL path to Laurel Extension. Lft. on Spruce. Rt. on Pacific. Right on Cooper. Through TJ’s parking lot – across san lorenzo ped bridge, left on to river levee path.
Take path to ped bridge by hwy 1. Stop at at exercise station (by Ross/Office Max parking lot) for !Cumbia! from Las Uvas de Oro.
Head back to River Street – towards pacific. Pacific – rt on Church. Left on Center. Left on Lincoln. Lincoln to Soquel.
Right on Cayuga. Left on Broadway. Straight at Broadway and Fredrick into Sc Bible Church parking lot. Straight onto Arana Gulch Multi-Use Path. Pause at “Y”. Right towards Harbor. Follow path to west side of harbor. Regroup at Chardonnay docs. More music!
Head to south end of harbor, (head to jetty/lighthouse if the group feels it) right on Atlantic. Right on Sea Bright. Left on Murray/East Cliff.
Head back downtown!
Rt on Pacific. Pacific loops until we’re satisfied! Head back to 703 Pacific. Fin.
